The week aimed to raise awareness of the plight of children living in conflict, and saw thousands of students attend a range of thought-provoking and entertaining events throughout last week.
Events were organised by students from UNICEF, AMNESTY, GIVE FOR GAZA and
STAR (Student Action for Refugees). Through collaboration, the societies
put together something very, very special.

The finalists for the National Union of Students Awards have been announced, and University of Manchester Students' Union have two contenders in the running.

Survey: Safety in Student Homes
Very quick survey by Electrical Safety Council with prizes of free electricity for a year and a laptop. The survey runs until June 5th.

Students Union meeting with the Vice Chancellor
University Vice Chancellor and President Alan Gilbert met with students on Thursday 7th May. This is the second such session in the academic year organised by UMSU.
