'Children in Conflict' Week Raises over £7000 and Provides Quality Entertainment

The week aimed to raise awareness of the plight of children living in conflict, and saw thousands of students attend a range of thought-provoking and entertaining events throughout last week.

Events were organised by students from UNICEF, AMNESTY, GIVE FOR GAZA and STAR (Student Action for Refugees). Through collaboration, the societies put together something very, very special. Read more.....

Survey: Safety in Student Homes

Very quick survey by Electrical Safety Council with prizes of free electricity for a year and a laptop. The survey runs until June 5th. Go to the survey.

Students Union meeting with the Vice Chancellor

University Vice Chancellor and President Alan Gilbert met with students on Thursday 7th May. This is the second such session in the academic year organised by UMSU. Read the Student Direct article.
