Student Action has a new website!
But this is far more than a lick of paint: all of our projects are now run by a custom made Volunteer Management System, which allows project managers and volunteers access to all the information they need wherever they are, as well as online sign up and an entirely paperless operation.Our dedicated team is also available to provide graphics design and online solutions for your organisation. What is Student Action?
We are a volunteering organisation that gives students opportunities to participate, run and manage projects. We have 35 projects that help make a meaningful and beneficial contribution to people in the local community. We believe that our projects also provide exciting, interesting and challenging experiences for each volunteer.
It is student led. So if you have an idea for a project and want to make a positive change in your local community, we can help you!
What are the benefits?
· We provide all the relevant and effective training, support and guidance for all our volunteers.
· Student-led means YOU decide what projects we run. Have an idea, tell us and we will help you develop, promote and manage new projects.
· Leave the 'student bubble' and interact with a wide range of people from different backgrounds and ages.
· Because it is run by students, Student Action is sympathetic to your studies and will not ask for a regular commitment.
· It is a great social opportunity to meet people from different universities in Manchester as we hold regular socials.
