23rd May
A big thanks to everybody that came down to either of the Ram & Shackle nights, I think it's fair to say that they went much better than even we expected! We've got plans for a regular night next year, so expect more of the same...
In other news, Dan Cropper's release is on its way to that great Music Aggregator in the sky as I type, so that should be online and available to buy very soon, closely followed by Four Dances for Dancers, the Unconscious Jungle debut EP.
The compilation is still going ahead- provisional release date is in October- so if you're interested in taking part, get in touch!
6th May
The Biko Folk Rock night was a roaring success on April the 30th- thanks to everyone that came down, to the bands that played, and especial thanks to Kirsty for organising it.
Next up: Der.Die.Das / The Casino Zone / Unconscious Jungle / Johnny Gwynn @ Ram & Shackle // Friday the 7th of May // Free Entry!
Also, expect releases by Dan Cropper and Unconscious Jungle on Biko in May. The Biko Compilation has been pushed back to the next academic year, so we have re-opened submissions. If anybody has ideas for a name, contact us at the email adress on the 'contact' page. If we do end up recieving a brilliant suggestion that gets used, we'll come up with a prize of some kind...
