Manchester’s Young Creators
Every Wednesday 4.30pm to 6.30pm.
An exciting new creative community project to empower young people with the fewest opportunities to achieve above their expectations, whilst providing University of Manchester students with life-changing volunteering experiences. Students become creative leaders with in their local community engaging with young people through artistic workshops and productions. This is a great opportunity for young people to develop creative and personal skills and students to be at the heart of positively enhancing communities through their individual creativity.

Enrichment Programme
Every Friday 9am to 3pm (school day).
We have teamed up with an all girl’s school based in Moston in challenging circumstances. We are looking for young people to work with our students on a range of academic and enriching projects anything from potting plants, to working with artists for the Whitworth Art Gallery, building solar panelled cars and slam poetry to the normal everyday academic support you would expect in a school.
We are looking for enthusiastic people to support the teachers in delivering our enrichment programme designed to offer and award our students with a cultural edge and a range of experiences beyond their financial reach. If you have an idea and project you wish to deliver or just wish to gain experience in an educational format and could do with the support of Manchester’s biggest and newest Academy then this is the perfect project for you!
