Computer Science

The Computer Science society seeks to represent and provide events and socials for students of the School of Computer Science, in addition to get rid of some of the traditional stereotype associated with it!  Through holding competitions and quiz nights (prizes last year included iPods, hundreds of pounds of Amazon vouchers and even a no expenses spared ball (previous venues including the Hilton and the Palace Hotel) and even more events planned for the coming year!  More than that, if anyone wants to get involved and get some support with running their own event they think would be of interest to our members, we are more than happy to give the support you need, be it through organisation or running it!
We have built up some great links with graduate employers over the last few years and actively encourage informal networking sessions for those interested in careers in the Computer science industry.  For those who just want to have a good time, maybe find out about some new things and generally just enjoy university life, we are here for that too!
