Manchester Against Fees and Cuts

Manchester Against Fees And Cuts is a none-party affiliated campaigning society, which focuses on education fees and government cuts, including but not limited to Higher Education, through direct action, lobbying, marching, educational and outreach activities. It has been highly instrumental in subsidising students to attend marches, developing the outreach and fundraising activities of cuts-related events such as occupations and in organising protests in the Greater Manchester area. The society meets weekly in the Steve Biko building.
