Howdy EEE Soc-ers!

This is the official website of the Electrical and Electronic Engineering Society (EEESoc) in the University of Manchester. Our website is developed to provide you with all our information, upcoming events, pictures and news.

The EEESoc was announced as an official society in the University of Manchester Student Union in September 2009. And Since then a lot of events have taken place. The EEESoc was formed to group’ all EEE students of all levels and branches together, and provide a student-made platform by which we can share knowledge, experience and opinions. Our events form a major part of activities, ranging from career-prospects events such as trips to industry till purely-fun events such paintballing and social gatherings. EEESoc is not exclusive for students, many of the University of Manchester EEE staff members do engage in our activities.

This website was developed by the IT-Officer of the EEE Society, and was officially published on the 8th of March 2010. We have tried to enrich the websites with utilities to facilitate your use, provide you with more media and ultimately boost your experience.

This executive committee’s member have the right to brag-off of being the very first exec committee in the EEESoc which brought the society to light, very democratically elected I might add. This committee is the first to start arranging events, connect with sponsors from Industry and design the very first EEESoc hoodie, to name a few.

The next elections for the committee will be in April/May 2010.
