Whether your just staying for the year or looking at the long term, UMSU is here to ensure that you get represented and hopefully make hall living as stress free as possible. On our exec Emily Randall the student activities officer works full time to campaign for your rights and supports the resident associations/JCRs in their activities over the year

Students living in halls makes up over 25% of our membership both undergrad and postgrad. With the university looking at expanding the number of halls, your students' union will be working to defend your rights, campaigning against decreases in services and hikes in hall fees.
