Room Requests for Societies
Confirmation of bookings takes up to a day - if you need faster confirmation please visit General Office. Comments about the useablility of the system itself to rooms-system@umsu.manchester.ac.uk (do not use for room booking queries).
The Union has a number of rooms available for societies to request the use of rooms.
Only official union societies in the societies list can request a room through this system, which is equivalent to requesting the room through the General Office enquiry window in the Biko Building. Requests are not confirmed until you get confirmation by email (the copy of the request you receive is not confirmation).
If you wish to host a visiting speaker or request equipment beyond the table and chairs in the room already, you must request your room in person directly to General Office. You may also be asked to visit General Office if there are new requirements for booking the room you request.
