Campaigning

We are a campaign group interested in the promotion of ethical standards in the commercialisation of intellectual property for medical products generated at the University of Manchester.

As a matter of the greatest urgency, we are calling for the broadest unity against the alarming rise in racism and fascism in Britain today.  

UNICEF on Campus is a UNICEF affiliated student organisation that seeks to spread awareness throughout the student population about global issues, particularly those affecting children.  UNICEF On Campus also puts on a variety of events throughout the year in order to raise funds for UNICEF causes.  It is a society of students all looking to have fun while helping others out and it’s an opportunity you don’t want to miss!

Students Against ID campaigns against the database state, including ID cards, summary care records, and whatever else we must to keep our data safe.

STAR is a society that will campaign on issues relating to refugess and asylum seekers living in the UK. We will provide opportunities to volunteer such as supporting the shelter for destitute asylum seekers and teaching English to refugees.

Campaigning both locally and nationally for HIV and AIDS focussed issues. Fundraising events for local and national charities. Art and music social events. 

To train students in infant life support. To provide community clinics for students to teach parents infant life support. Raise awareness of the need for infant life support.

Society for disabled and non-disabled students concerned with disability issues, or just want to have fun. Hiding away is extinct, get active just RAWR!

Re:Vision Drug Policy Manchester is a society of students who believe that problematic drug users need help not prison and that recreational users need to be left alone, not given criminal records. Join us. 

People & Planet is a national student organisation campaigning on human rights and environmental issues.
