SPLASSS is a society which unites Spanish and Portuguese language students in a relaxed and fun environment in order to create a more informal learning experience to the course. The society was set up to connect all of the university's Spanish and Portuguese students so that they can interact in their target language and expirience the culture together.

The Russian Speaking Society is aimed at gathering Russian speakers and those who are interested in Russian speaking countries and exploring the culture. 

Romanian society aims to promote Romanian cultures, traditions in the broader context of sharing universal beliefs and values.

A society to create a friendly environment for Iranian/Persian speaking students to organise joyful and effective events.

Nigerian students society aims to unite Nigerians at the University of Manchester, promote Nigerian culture and identity within the University community and project a positive image of Nigeria.

The University of Manchester Mauritian Society provides a link between Mauritius and those in Manchester who wish to know more about the Maurtian culture.  

A society of Mexican and non Mexican people with the aim of establishing a link between Mexican, British and foriegn students interested in Latin American culture

MSSM is the society for all Malaysians in the univesity that promotes unity in diversity
